Ibn Rushd 900 (2026–2030) is a five-year intellectual and cultural initiative marking nine centuries since the birth of Ibn Rushd (1126–1198).
The project seeks to renew engagement with Ibn Rushd’s intellectual legacy and explore its relevance to contemporary questions of reason, knowledge, religion, philosophy, society and human development.
It brings together researchers, academics, thinkers, students and cultural institutions from the Arab world and beyond through research, conferences, publications, education and intellectual dialogue.
